There are some problems with a story on the site and I asked the webhost to suspend my site temporarily since I cannot access either the site or the FTP for updating. It is only temporary and it will be lifted soon. Hang in there.

A quick question. Is anyone else having trouble accessing www.kardasi.com - I can't seem to get at it from any computer. Please, let me know.

There has NOT been enough Spencer Reid in the latest episodes of Criminal Minds.

No sooner had I started posting to this blog, before my computer went and died on me. Now I have bought a new laptop, but boy do I hate restoring all that was lost.

Well, what's new with me? There's been quite a bit going on over the past few years. Not a lot of it good. My mom and dad both got sick with cancer and dad died in October last year. Still dealing with that on a daily basis.

I still have a lot of cats, but think I've narrowed down the amount to no more than 9 at the moment and am planning on getting rid of *at least* two more cats before I give up.

I no longer write a whole lot. I think I hit a wall in the writing department, both professionally and fannishly, so I'm not currently working. Pretty much not doing anything but knit. Yeah. KNIT. A lot. I knit and I dye yar and have lots of fun.

And I read slash, as I said. Any good recs of stories that have come out lately in any of the following fandoms would be truly appreciated: They don't HAVE to be slash, but I'd prefer it if they were.

House - House/Wilson
Criminal Minds - think I read most of what's good there (innerslytherin and cowriter's stories have all been consumed at a scary pace) but anything involving REID which is my new fan-crush!
Kirk/Spock OF COURSE
Harry/Snape

Um ... well, I'm open for suggestions on anything else that might be interesting. Only if you want of course. I'm scouring the 'net myself. And I'll post recs if I find anything good, right here.

I know I've been quiet for nearly three years in the slash fandom, but lately, I've been reading a lot of slash (mostly Criminal Minds and House) and I might be slowly coming back.

Y'all know what a sucky fall I've had, and how out of fandom I've been. I'm now going back up to mom and dad, and I would like to fill my Palm Pilot with good slash fic to read while I'm there. Do any of you have any good ideas? Anything recent - more recent than three-four months at least, is probably new to me. I'd love to read

Odogoddess - thanks for the tips on the Word processor. The defrag didn't help but was long overdue. I think I'll just have to do what you suggest and save it as a text file. I don't need the extra work right now, but there's nothing else *to* do at the moment.

*sigh* I am so, so, so sick of PayPal. They just suspended my account. I was asking for donations for Lady Kardasi's Domain and I don't know whether they found out by themselves or if someone on the list, who's jelaous or petty or whatever told them about me, and PayPal decided that my site is ADULT.

Bottom line, my account is now limited, and that's pretty much the same as that it's gone. Thankfully I had time to move at least some of the funds people had sent to me to Slashcity for kardasi.com.

I don't know what to do. I don't consider my site an adult site exactly. I guess they do at PayPal. It sucks. I wish there were a version of PayPal that did allow adult sites. I hate this. I'm so pissed off! Actually this is the SECOND time this happens to me.

What pisses me off most is that PayPal does this without warning. One day your account is okay and the next they've just fucked everything up without warning. :-(

Damn it all to hell. Hubby and I bought a pool - a frame pool, an Intex Frame Pool no less, the other day. The fire department were here with their fire engine truck last night to fill it.

This morning, when I woke up to check on the freaking thing, one of the legs have folded. How the hell are we supposed to fix that with FORTY freaking cubic meters of water inside even if we get a new leg for the pool.

Damn it all to hell.
